Responsibilities

• Handle oil changes, brake jobs, small engine repairs, and minor tune-ups.
• Purchase vehicle parts and perform various assigned duties.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by repairing, adjusting, and replacing major assemblies and components.
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements.
• Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license preferred but not required.
• Skilled in supply management and inventory control.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance, laws, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy in preparing and entering information.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships.
• Effective verbal and listening skills.
• Ability to perform essential duties under time constraints.
