Responsibilities

• Work as a team member to produce or process microwave products.
• Set up and operate equipment for assembly and testing of microwave tubes.
• Work from specifications, drawings, blueprints, and test procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical assembly and related duties for traveling wave tubes.
• Ensure build records are complete and certified before manufacturing.
• Work under clean room conditions when required.
• Use computerized equipment for data input and analysis.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain required certifications.
• Proficiently read and understand engineering prints/documentation.
• Adjust and perform related duties to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Work scheduled shifts as per Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Proficient at clocking into and out of work orders.
• Accurately record and document time charged to jobs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills: interpersonal, oral, and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects effectively.
• Good manual dexterity with both hands.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience using basic hand tools and welding.
• 20/20 eyesight (corrected) and good hand-eye coordination.
• 1-3 years of operations or manufacturing-related work experience.
