Overview

Ferrero is one of the world’s largest sweet-packaged food companies, responsible for the safe and efficient mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment, including ovens and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs packaging, baking, and processing equipment.
• Diagnoses reasons for mechanical failures and understands basic electricity principles.
• Provides basic maintenance services to the building, including its structure.
• Repairs pneumatic, mechanical drive, and electrical components.
• Safely operates shop equipment including hydraulic presses, Bridgeport, lathes, band saws, and hand-operated power tools.
• Preferred skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Operates forklifts and aerial lifts.
• Understands plant utilities equipment including chillers, HVAC, and air compressors.
• Preferred experience in food processing.
• Performs basic electrical troubleshooting including fuses, motors, circuit breakers, and plant lighting.
• Preferred experience with CMMS or ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Possesses basic computing skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience or a combination of 3 years’ experience and education.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
