Overview

We are hiring a Field Service Engineer in Chicago, IL to support advanced CNC fabricating machines across North America. This role involves extensive travel and requires a hands-on technical professional who excels in customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to install, troubleshoot, service, and repair CNC machine tools.
• Deliver high-quality technical service to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Document machine conditions and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance for maximum productivity.
• Act as a trusted service ambassador, partnering with customers to support their success.

Requirements

• A flexible, curious, and customer-focused professional.
• Strong hands-on experience with electronics & digital circuits.
• Experience with mechanical systems & hydraulics.
• Proficient in wiring & troubleshooting.
• Tech-savvy with experience in software and file management.
• A proactive problem solver who enjoys working independently in the field.
