Overview

Mi-Jack® Products has been a leader in Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) crane innovation for over 70 years, delivering durable and technologically advanced material handling equipment. They are seeking a Lead Erection Technician to oversee and execute large-scale projects at customer locations, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime for their equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute critical, large-scale projects at customer locations.
• Coordinate and execute the assembly and installation of intermodal heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret complex electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and repair systems.
• Perform detailed preventative maintenance and comprehensive equipment inspections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer equipment requests.
• Uphold and enforce all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years of relevant heavy equipment field experience, preferably with gantry cranes.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assemblies.
• Strong crane signaling experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
• Physical stamina to climb, twist, bend, and lift parts up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel approximately 80–90% to customer sites.
