Responsibilities

• Travel to various sites to support local maintenance teams.
• Repair, overhaul, or modify complex vehicles and equipment.
• Exercise judgment and independence in solving complex maintenance problems.
• Plan and improvise repair procedures for vehicles and equipment.
• Independently determine work methods, sequences, tools, and equipment for repairs.
• Take responsibility for the repair, overhaul, or modification of major systems.
• Develop or improvise methods and make repairs in the absence of technical guidelines.
• Use specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose problems in complex systems.

Requirements

• Ability to exercise judgment and independence in complex maintenance tasks.
• Experience with off-road heavy mobile equipment.
• Skills in planning and improvising repair procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and correct defects when existing methods are insufficient.
• Experience in modifying parts to fit into systems not originally designed for them.
• Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic equipment for electric and electronic systems.
