Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment, primarily focusing on utilities maintenance. The company is a leading beverage provider with a diverse portfolio of brands.

Responsibilities

  • Observe equipment to ensure it operates to OEM standards or production satisfaction.
  • Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
  • Answer maintenance calls in a timely manner and assist others in troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine PMs, repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on all assigned equipment.
  • Wire moderately complex control circuits.
  • Perform electronic component replacement, substitution, setup, and calibration.
  • Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process, and condensate.
  • Weld various types of metals.
  • Machine most metals, plastics, and composites.
  • Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for repair or replacement of equipment parts.
  • Complete size changeovers, make adjustments, and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
  • Identify problems and complete repairs with minimal downtime or supervision.
  • Troubleshoot 3-phase 480V motors and VFDs.
  • Complete necessary paperwork associated with repairs or calibration.
  • Complete assigned Work Orders.
  • Provide coverage and assistance throughout the facility to meet production schedules and equipment needs.
  • Ensure all work activities are performed with attention to quality, safety, and compliance with legal and food safety requirements.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures as well as GMPs.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free workplace.
  • Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to management.

Requirements

  • 1 year maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • 1 year of experience troubleshooting 3 phase (480V) circuits, motor starters and controls, and electronic circuit boards.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly, and walk and stand for long periods.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time position working 3rd shift from 9:30pm to 6:00am, Monday-Friday.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled is required.
