Overview
The Electro-Mechanical Technician position at PBNA involves repairing and installing advanced production equipment while performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing equipment malfunctions. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment.
- Conduct repairs on advanced production equipment as needed.
- Perform breakdown analysis.
- Oversee or perform general housekeeping.
- Upgrade production lines with new or upgraded equipment.
- Direct activities of outside contractors on assigned lines.
- Change lines for package changeovers.
- Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards.
- Document work schedule and tasks completed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Pass a technical assessment on job-critical maintenance knowledge.
- Experience with basic electrical systems including starters and relays.
- Experience with electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and apply product manuals for repairs.
- Experience with schematics and mechanical breakdown troubleshooting.
- Experience with reading mechanical drawings.
Additional Information
- Position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.
- Frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling required.
- May require weekend and/or holiday work.
