Overview

The Maintenance Technician will perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced production machinery to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Plant and Safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensure equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Plan and execute predictive/preventative maintenance efforts.
• Demonstrate effective root-cause problem solving for equipment repairs.
• Participate in special projects on equipment upgrades or installations.
• Utilize fabrication skills such as cutting and welding.
• Read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure PM’s/work order paperwork is completed before leaving the plant.
• Communicate important information to incoming shifts.
• Collaborate with peers to transfer technical knowledge.
• Provide training to production staff on equipment operation.
• Work with leadership on continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or certification in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing.
• Safe use of various hand and power tools, welders, and industrial shop equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and repair various electrical systems.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficient in computer skills including MS Office and CMMS.

• This position is a safety-sensitive role within the state of Arizona.
• Pay starts at $33.99/hour.
