Overview

Responsibilities
- Assemble various types of valves and actuation packages using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other instructions for accurate assembly.
- Perform pressure testing, functional testing, and calibration of valves and components to verify performance and compliance.
- Inspect valve components for defects, wear, or damage and troubleshoot issues with valves and instrumentation.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble valves and related equipment, replacing defective parts as necessary.
- Record test results, maintenance activities, and material usage on work orders or digital systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to improve assembly processes.
- Train or assist less experienced technicians as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; vocational training or an associate’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on Valve Assembly/repair experience.
- Actuation experience is a plus.
- Ability to understand and read blueprints and dimensions.
- Fabrication and assembly experience with piping, frames, skids, and mechanical equipment.
- Custom manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with experience using saws, drills, presses, grinders, and measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and tracking tasks.
