Responsibilities

• Assemble various types of valves and actuation packages using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other instructions for accurate assembly.
• Perform pressure testing, functional testing, and calibration of valves and components to verify performance and compliance.
• Inspect valve components for defects, wear, or damage and troubleshoot issues with valves and instrumentation.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble valves and related equipment, replacing defective parts as necessary.
• Record test results, maintenance activities, and material usage on work orders or digital systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to improve assembly processes.
• Train or assist less experienced technicians as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; vocational training or an associate’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on Valve Assembly/repair experience.
• Actuation experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand and read blueprints and dimensions.
• Fabrication and assembly experience with piping, frames, skids, and mechanical equipment.
• Custom manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with experience using saws, drills, presses, grinders, and measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and tracking tasks.
