Overview
An aerospace client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform various manufacturing operations, including setup and calibration tasks, rework, and quality testing. The role involves operating industrial equipment and using precision measuring tools to ensure correct positioning during bonding operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations of gun systems in a team or individual environment.
- Manufacture assembly of subassemblies and top-level assemblies for gun systems.
- Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
- Interpret blueprints accurately.
- Adhere to detailed operating procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain high attention to detail.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 40 lbs.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting.
- Able to start work on a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) schedule from 5 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., and work overtime and some weekends if needed.
