Overview

Accupac is seeking a Compounding Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Mainland, PA. The role involves overseeing the maintenance and repair of compounding equipment used in the production of cosmetics and personal care products while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compounding equipment.
• Perform full line equipment configurations to support production needs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Assist with new project planning and provide input on equipment selection.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and train other mechanical personnel.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures to ensure equipment readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a compounding or similar production environment preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with compounding equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge required.
• Plumbing repair experience required; welding and fabrication preferred.
• Strong understanding of SOPs and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with teams.
• Comfortable working around chemicals and hot water.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in confined spaces.
