Overview

Keystone Aerial Surveys, a Vexcel company, is seeking an FAA Licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to perform various aircraft maintenance tasks. This position is fully onsite in Philadelphia, PA, and supports a range of industries through high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 50 hour inspections including oil changes and AD checks on exhaust systems.
  • Complete heavy 50 hour inspections and annual inspections in accordance with IA requirements.
  • Install and remove aerial cameras and sensors following all FAA and manufacturer procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and complete line maintenance as needed.
  • Replace cylinders and engine components.
  • Perform sheet metal repairs as required.
  • Maintain compliance with all FAA and OSHA guidelines.
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe hangar and work environment.
  • Move aircraft and operate ground support equipment.
  • Work independently as a self starter with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with Inspection Authorization required.
  • Five or more years of aircraft maintenance experience required.
  • In depth knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and functions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read wire diagrams, schematics and manufacturer manuals.
  • Sheet metal experience is preferred.
  • Must own basic tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
