Overview

Aecon is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join their team, delivering impactful infrastructure projects. The role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in a construction environment, ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install piping systems based on schematics and project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards throughout the installation process.
• Perform fire sprinkler fitting as required by project specifications.
• Maintain existing piping systems, conducting repairs and replacements as necessary.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with piping systems effectively.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed to secure pipe fittings and connections.
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions during installation.
