Overview

Chart Industries is a design and manufacturing company that creates highly engineered turboexpanders for various industrial applications. The Production Assembler II will contribute to the efficiency and quality of the company's work by performing various assembly and maintenance tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup and maintain a professional shop appearance.
• Lubricate and clean parts, assemblies, and production equipment.
• Assist with moving parts between departments, preferably with forklift experience.
• Prepare material for assembly and assist in fitting auxiliary system piping.
• Perform final finish duties on OEM machinery, including paint touch up and checking fittings.
• Engage in grinding, polishing, drilling, and riveting tasks.
• Load and unload parts and materials using forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
• Package parts and materials for storage or delivery.
• Support general shop needs and maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of shop experience with a mechanical electrical background preferred.
• Familiarity with shop operations and electrical background.
• Experience using power tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and PC skills.
• Excellent organization and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
