Overview

Academy Bus is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for their Secaucus, NJ location, focusing on the repair and maintenance of modern tour buses.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, and diagnose modern tour buses.
• Perform reconditioning, preventative, and routine maintenance.
• Conduct general lubrication functions such as oil and filter changes, air filter replacements, and chassis lubrication.
• Inspect, install, disassemble, and clean components under supervision, including brake and suspension components, tires, and seats.
• Document warranty and repair work.
• Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of hands-on experience, preferably in diesel engine maintenance.
• Minimum personal tool value of $2000.
• Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, and testing instruments.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
