Overview

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Laborer to join their team, which operates across eight states providing water and wastewater services. The role involves physical labor and the operation of various tools and vehicles to support the company's mission of delivering reliable services and protecting natural resources.

Responsibilities

• Operate pneumatic tools such as clay spade, rock drill, rammer, and jackhammer.
• Use hand tools including pick, shovel, digging bar, and sod tamper.
• Follow written instructions and read maps and plans.
• Operate a dump truck and a compressor truck.
• Review plates, plans, and work orders using electronic devices.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• A Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Restriction Removed is required.
• Must be available for overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Capable of increasing skills with experience and instruction.
• Ability to use a computer and basic programs like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Employees hired after December 15, 2022, will receive a reduced wage rate that will increase annually.
• Employees must be employed for more than twelve months in a department to apply for jobs outside of it.
