Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of various mechanical equipment. The role requires a basic understanding of natural gas characteristics and safety policies, as well as proficiency in using various tools.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment including engines, compressors, and pumps.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper function of mechanical equipment.
  • Fill out work/hot work permits and lockout/tagout documentation.
  • Attend and participate in tailgate sessions with work site teams.
  • Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Work safely using proper tools and environmental precautions.
  • Maintain effective communication with co-workers and vendors.
  • Utilize precision tools such as hydraulic torque wrenches and micrometers.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Interpersonal communication skills to interface with teams and vendors.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in changing climate conditions.
  • Ability to work in close quarters and various physical positions.
  • Adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
