Overview

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is searching for experienced Ironworkers to join their Industrial Services Team in the Little Rock metro area. This full-time position involves laying out and fabricating structural steel and sheet metal while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications in blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required and work requirements.
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors.
• Bolt aligned structural steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place.
• Cut, bend or weld steel pieces using the appropriate tools.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Metal Building experience required.
• Be available to work overtime and possibly weekends.
• Welding certifications not required but preferred.
• The ability to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Effective at both verbal and written communication.
