Overview

EK is looking for a full-time Welder for the weekend shift, offering a sign-on bonus and a 20% shift premium. The position is based in Fall River, where the company values teamwork and provides competitive benefits and unlimited opportunities for skill advancement.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols.
• Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts according to specifications.
• Perform welding on a variety of metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Conduct hand layouts of weldments with minimal supervision.
• Utilize fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications.
• Assist in creating work instructions.
• Complete inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures.
• Pressure test fuel tanks and hydro test glycol tanks.
• Travel between plants and adapt to product mix requirements.
• Analyze weld processes and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in manual welding.
• Ability to navigate blueprints and directions.
• Skills in welding a wide variety of metals and alloys.

Additional Information

• Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5am-5pm.
