AerSale® is a global leader in aviation products and services, specializing in aftermarket support for passenger, cargo, and government segments. The Structures Technician will undergo training in aircraft structures, focusing on maintenance, repair, and compliance with FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete in-class and on-the-job training in aircraft structures.
- Understand various types of aircraft sealant and appropriate application methods.
- Fabricate parts and have knowledge of metals and alloys.
- Perform complex structural repairs as per repair manuals and engineering documents.
- Remove and install parts and components according to FAA approved technical data.
- Work independently using the QC process to verify work performed.
- Document all work performed accurately.
- Ensure all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete OJT forms and submit them daily.
- Obtain a Repairman’s Certificate, A, or A&P Certificate if required.
- Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior aircraft structures experience may be required.
- Minimum of 0-3 years of experience required.
- Mechanical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to operate ground support equipment safely.
- Experience with hot bond repairs and metal prep.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding manual references.
