Overview

We are looking for a welder – fitter who is an intermediate to advanced welder capable of welding in various positions. The ideal candidate should have experience in fitting and squaring weldments and be proficient in reading and understanding blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read and review prints.
• Identify and confirm the accuracy of material types and specifications.
• Work with supervisor to modify or adjust fitting techniques as needed.
• Perform in and out of position MIG welding.
• Operate assorted hand tools.
• Handle materials and prepare them through grinding, beveling, and surface cleaning.
• Conduct quality control inspections.
• Maintain general factory organization and upkeep.

Requirements

• Ability to read drawings and manufacturing prints.
• 2+ years of weld shop or metal shop experience.
• Mechanical assembly skills.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Availability Monday – Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm.
