Overview

TRC Talent Solution is seeking a MIG Welder for a client in Milner, GA. The role involves using specialized equipment to weld and assemble metal forms, ensuring product specifications are met while maintaining a defined production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Setup, adjust and operate welding machines.
• Set welding jigs according to specific instructions.
• Occasionally grind or spot weld parts.
• Inspect finished parts for quality.
• Rotate to different workstations as production requires.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Use measuring devices.
• Follow work instructions.
• Stand for up to 10-12 hours a day.
• Lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Identify and document problems, set goals, track progress, and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.
• Report issues and concerns to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Weld and fabricate finished metal products.
• Operate angle grinders, band saw, and drill press to prepare parts for welding.
• Follow and meet product specifications.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.

Requirements

• 2 years of MIG welding experience.
• Basic understanding of Quality Management System standards.
