Job Description
Overview
The Welder position is a first shift role requiring expertise in welding, specifically with certifications in GTAW and AWS D17.1. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience and be capable of reading blueprints and using standard welding tools.
Responsibilities
- Pass the welding certification tests for current materials used in the shop.
- Read, interpret, and process blueprints and operation sheets.
- Use all standard bench tools and gauges required for setup, inspection, and welding of assemblies.
Requirements
- Certification in GTAW.
- Certification in AWS D17.1.
- Certification in PWA 16 (in any group material).
- 3-5 years of welding experience required.
