Responsibilities

• Proficient in MIG welding light gauge sheet metal ductwork both round and rectangular.
• Determine materials and consumables required for welding tasks and report project needs to the superintendent.
• Set up and tear down welding equipment daily.
• Fill out required permits daily.
• Install and fit-up of material to be welded.
• Work in various elements and conditions as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 or more years of welding experience.
• Ability to keep welding equipment and accessories in good working condition.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of welding machines and equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license (CDL).
• Must possess basic tools required for the job.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
