Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team. This hands-on position involves fabricating, grinding, finishing, and preparing metal components according to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and prepare metal components according to work orders and specifications.
• Operate grinders and other fabrication equipment to smooth, shape, and finish materials.
• Measure materials accurately and perform calculations to ensure proper dimensions and fit.
• Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Assist with material handling and other shop-related duties as assigned.
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous grinding experience is required.
• Strong math skills are required, including the ability to perform measurements and basic calculations accurately.
• Previous fabrication, manufacturing, or metalworking experience is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

• Temp To Full-Time Fabricator
• Pay: $17/hour
• Location: Bossier City, LA
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
