Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the facility and warehouse equipment, including installation, repair, and maintenance of various systems such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. The role requires ensuring the upkeep and appearance of the campus while adhering to safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
- Identify issues and find appropriate solutions using problem-solving techniques.
- Report all downtime to Maintenance Leadership and/or Operations.
- Ensure a safe work environment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete and enter assigned preventative and maintenance work orders in the CMMS System.
- Maintain a courteous and professional work ethic, appearance, and attitude.
- Assist other members of the Maintenance Department with tasks as needed.
- Safely operate all facility and material handling equipment and tools.
- Work overtime or non-scheduled hours as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of facility and warehouse systems.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with conveyor and sortation equipment.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance including plumbing.
- Ability to perform welding and PLC troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management System.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 60 pounds.
