Overview

This is a fast-paced job that involves working at customer sites to support the energy industry in various welding and turbine repair applications. Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations to meet manufacturing and engineering specifications for turbine generator field services equipment.
  • Engage in heavy travel domestically and internationally, potentially on short notice.
  • Work a high percentage of overtime, including 12-hour shifts.
  • Assemble turbine blades and components with precision, including hand riveting.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years training leading to Diploma or Certificate from technical/trade school or apprentice program in welding or manufacturing, with a preference for Welding Technology.
  • Minimum of three years welding experience.
  • Skilled in manual SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW welding processes.
  • Capable of passing 6G position heavy wall weld test using both GTAW and SMAW processes on carbon and stainless steel.
  • Basic computer skills to complete job-related expenses.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and extensive background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain unescorted nuclear plant access.
  • Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
