Overview

FNA Group is a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial pressure washers and other power equipment, known for its acclaimed brands and dynamic growth. The Maintenance Technician II position in Mesquite, TX involves performing equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and new equipment installations to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment uptime metrics are met for manufacturing and facilities equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic seals, hoses, cylinders, solenoid actuated valves, and hydraulic pumps.
  • Repair motors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.
  • Diagnose simple circuits, 3-phase power systems, motor controls, AC/DC Drives, PLC's, and servo drive systems.
  • Use a digital multi-meter to identify faulty wiring, blown fuses, faulty switches, terminal ends, circuit boards, breakers, and photoelectric controls.
  • Provide electrical services including running conduit, installing/disconnecting junction boxes, fuse boxes, and replacing faulty breakers.
  • Safely operate shop tools such as cutoff saw, drill press, bench grinder, hydraulic press, vertical band saw, arc welder, acetylene torch, and various hand tools.
  • Assist in other areas of operation as needed to provide support during absences or shortages of staff.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering Technology or a High School diploma with related work experience.
  • Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman license preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years' manufacturing experience in a maintenance position preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to all aspects of safety.
  • Forklift experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-3:30pm.
  • This provides 16 hours of overtime each week.
