Overview
FNA Group is a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial pressure washers and other power equipment, with a Maintenance Technician III position available in Mesquite, TX. The role involves performing equipment diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and new equipment installations to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment uptime metrics are met for manufacturing and facilities equipment.
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic seals, hoses, cylinders, solenoid actuated valves, and hydraulic pumps.
- Repair motors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.
- Troubleshoot simple circuits, 3-phase power systems, motor controls, AC/DC Drives, PLC's, and servo drive systems.
- Rebuild or replace equipment wearable parts.
- Use a digital multi-meter to identify faulty wiring, blown fuses, and circuit issues.
- Provide electrical services including running conduit and installing junction boxes.
- Safely operate shop tools such as cutoff saws, drill presses, and various hand tools.
- Work with engineering on line improvements and tooling enhancements.
- Assist in training lower level maintenance personnel.
- Assist Maintenance Manager with maintenance project management.
- Support other areas of operation during staff absences or shortages.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering Technology or related work experience.
- Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman license preferred but not required.
- 5-10 years' manufacturing experience in a maintenance position preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (120, 240, 480V).
- Solid understanding of PLC controls and control circuits.
- Welding and metal working experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Commitment to all aspects of safety.
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
- Lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Robotic experience is a plus.
- PLC programming experience is a plus.
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Additional Information
- Typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-3:30pm, providing 16 hours of overtime each week.
