The Fabrication Technician I position involves fabricating doors and frames for vinyl extrusions while ensuring safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates doors and frames for vinyl extrusions using hand tools and milling machines.
• Identifies and tags material with a written symbol for assembly and inspection.
• Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations.
• Fits and assembles components.
• Performs all general production work as required.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred in a fabrication or production environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Good math skills.
• Be vigilant about safety.
• Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence.

Additional Information

• 1st shift from 5A to 1:30P.
• Training for this shift may be on a different shift for up to one month.
