Overview

The Welder Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines that fabricate and repair metal structures, equipment, and machinery, while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring quality production.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocol to eliminate safety occurrences.
• Complete non-welding tasks on the production floor to meet fluctuating customer demand.
• Follow inspection processes to ensure reliability and consistency within work processes and final products.
• Prepare and maintain machines, equipment, materials, and work area to produce quality products.
• Weld and fabricate stainless steel, aluminum, and cold roll steel to produce durable products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Adaptability to a changing work environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
• Basic math skills.

Additional Information

• 1st Shift hours are Monday – Thursday 6am to 4:30pm.
• PPE required are safety shoes and safety glasses (we provide safety glasses).
