Overview
The Welder Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines that fabricate and repair metal structures, equipment, and machinery, while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring quality production.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocol to eliminate safety occurrences.
- Complete non-welding tasks on the production floor to meet fluctuating customer demand.
- Follow inspection processes to ensure reliability and consistency within work processes and final products.
- Prepare and maintain machines, equipment, materials, and work area to produce quality products.
- Weld and fabricate stainless steel, aluminum, and cold roll steel to produce durable products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Adaptability to a changing work environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
- Basic math skills.
Additional Information
- 1st Shift hours are Monday – Thursday 6am to 4:30pm.
- PPE required are safety shoes and safety glasses (we provide safety glasses).
