Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Temporary Welder/Fitters to join our family-owned and operated manufacturing team, which operates in a busy and constantly changing market.

Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on different materials and components.
• Execute precise assembly of trailer axles for big rigs, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to engineering specifications.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and quality standards, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production deadlines and objectives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Proven experience with steel welding and fabrication.
• Strong capability in precision assembly of components, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.
• Must own and consistently wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically work boots.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality and safety in all work.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Additional Information

• Temp-to-Hire position
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)
• Occasional Fridays and Saturdays may be required based on project demands and production needs.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
