Overview

Classic Collision is a rapidly growing company established in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to providing quality service with integrity and honesty. The Auto Body Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and quality in vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage.
• Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure by following work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic windows, and seat operating equipment as needed.
• Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Comply with all Classic Collision standard operating procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.
