Overview

We are a small but busy and growing company specializing in the fabrication and occasionally installation of custom miscellaneous metals including railings, handrails, ladders, and small warehouse loading dock stairs. We are looking to add several high energy, hardworking welder/shop helpers to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the fabrication of custom miscellaneous metals.
  • Participate in field installation and short term travel.
  • Learn welding skills over time to advance to higher positions.

Requirements

  • Be able to read a tape measure.
  • Have experience using basic power tools such as a grinder, saw, drill, etc.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Tolerate working in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Have at least 1 year experience in a construction or fabrication related work environment.
  • Be able to pass a drug test upon hire and randomly thereafter.
  • Have reliable transportation to the shop and other locations.
  • Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Additional Information

  • Full-time position with occasional overtime.
  • Located in the Spring Branch area of Houston.
  • Job sites include the greater Houston area and possible further travel.
