Overview

We are hiring for an experienced gas plumber or pipe fitter. The position requires various skills in welding and pipe fitting, and applicants should apply in person during specified hours.

Responsibilities

  • Welding, grinding, drilling, punching, cutting, plasma cutting, and pipe threading.
  • Building air systems on machines before and after they go into the refractory department.
  • Using necessary work tools and safety equipment supplied, except for basic welding tools.
  • Reading blueprints and filling out quality control paperwork with serial numbers of components used.

Requirements

  • Experience as a gas plumber or pipe fitter.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continual basis.
  • Capability to climb ladders and bend frequently.
