Hiring 2nd Shift TIG/GMAW Welders (3:30PM–12AM) for a top Austin fabrication manufacturer. Must weld stainless, carbon steel, and aluminum in all positions. Requires 3+ years experience, blueprint reading, AWS symbols, and complex assembly fabrication. Hands-on weld test required.

salary: $19 - $28 per hour shift: Second work hours: 3 PM - 12 AM education: High School

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

· Work with various types of metals with various thicknesses; stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.

· Use of Gas Metal Arc welding in the manufacturing process

· Understand AWS weld symbols

· Ability to weld in all positions: horizontal, vertical/uphill, and overhead

· Must be able to layout parts, assemble components, and fabricate complex assemblies using blueprints, drawings, engineering, and quality requirement.

· Must be able to read, understand and follow operating instructions provided

· Follow all quality and safety procedures

· Weld test will be administered
