Overview

CEIS Power is seeking an experienced Pressure Vessel Fitter/Fabricator with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment. This contract-to-hire position is for a motivated individual to join a fast-paced growing team focused on high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble pressure vessel components including heads, caps, nozzles, flanges, and structural attachments.
• Perform fit-up activities in preparation for welding operations.
• Complete back weld preparation and fit-up work on pressure vessels and fabricated assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Measure, mark, and layout components to ensure proper alignment and dimensional accuracy.
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, and quality personnel to meet production requirements.
• Verify dimensions and fit-up quality using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
• Support production schedules and quality objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of pressure vessel fabrication and fitting experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop.
• Experience fitting nozzles, heads, caps, flanges, and related pressure vessel components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Strong knowledge of pressure vessel fabrication practices and shop procedures.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, levels, and layout tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
