Overview

CEIS Power is seeking an experienced pipe fitter with 2+ years of experience working in a shop environment. This position is on a contract to hire basis, and our client, an industrial manufacturing and service company, is looking for a motivated individual to join their fast-paced, growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Fit and assemble pipe spools according to drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and work orders
  • Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe for fit-up
  • Align and tack weld components prior to final welding
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall fit-up accuracy
  • Work closely with welders and shop team to meet production deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

  • 2+ years of pipe fitting experience in a fabrication shop
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, tools, and measurements
  • Experience with pipe prep (cutting, beveling, fitting)
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
