Overview
As a Rebar Fabrication Laborer at Wells, you will support production by assembling, staging, and handling rebar and mesh cages to meet project specifications in a safety-focused environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and the importance of contributing to quality structures that support communities.
Responsibilities
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Support production and warehouse operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
- Safely load and unload rebar deliveries from vendors.
- Handle, assemble, and stage rebar and mesh cages according to specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Previous rebar or construction experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch.
- Basic math and algebra skills.
- Ability to safely use a variety of tools, including rebar tie guns and shears.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Additional Information
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts.
