Overview

As a Rebar Fabrication Laborer at Wells, you will support production by assembling, staging, and handling rebar and mesh cages to meet project specifications in a safety-focused environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and the importance of contributing to quality structures that support communities.

Responsibilities

  • Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Support production and warehouse operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Safely load and unload rebar deliveries from vendors.
  • Handle, assemble, and stage rebar and mesh cages according to specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Previous rebar or construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch.
  • Basic math and algebra skills.
  • Ability to safely use a variety of tools, including rebar tie guns and shears.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Additional Information

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts.
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions.
