The Rotating Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for the dismantling, cleaning, and inspecting of pumps and decoking equipment, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions in pre-job briefings and complete all checklists, routers, and procedures.
- Clean each part for reuse and document the condition of components.
- Use hand torches and liquid nitrogen appropriately during the teardown process.
- Disassemble products to repair or replace defective materials or worn parts.
- Inspect components and assemblies accurately and record inspection results.
- Remove dirt, oil, grease, and other foreign matter from pump parts before assembly.
- Apply primer and finish coatings to pump products using spray equipment.
- Operate various precision measuring tools.
- Document condition and process with photographs.
- Participate in the implementation of reporting and operating systems.
- Report quality-related problems and ensure corrective actions are executed.
- Communicate with production planners and customers about component conditions.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, engineers, and customers as necessary.
- Encourage teambuilding, decision-making, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with pumps or heavy machinery.
- Centrifugal pump experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Pump repair experience.
- Ability to dismantle pumps.
- Must have a personal set of mechanic's tools, micrometers, and a roll-around toolbox.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Information
- First Shift Opportunity 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.
- Overtime required when needed.
