Overview

An EMI Attendant is responsible for learning the NDT inspection method according to Standard Operating Procedures and marking all inspected materials in line with quality standards set by SeAH Steel USA, LLC. The role involves contributing to the organization's safety program and assisting Level I and Level II inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level I and Level II inspectors.
• Perform all applicable functions as per procedures.
• Properly mark pipe according to identification procedures.
• Maintain his/her area clean.
• Operate conveyors to move material as needed.
• Magnetically charge the pipe for subsequent inspections if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year experience as an Attendant or pipe yard worker.
• Knowledge and experience within the OCTG pipe inspection industry is preferable.
• Successful completion of pre-screen drug test and physical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand all applicable location safety rules and regulations.
