Overview
Solarcraft designs and builds integrated outdoor automation and power systems for various environments, focusing on reliability and quality. The Final Assembly Technician is responsible for integrating components into a housing prior to shipping, utilizing hand tools and machinery while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Assembly, configuration, and integration of high-end electronic equipment.
- Installation, termination, and testing of low voltage wiring.
- Read work orders, blueprints, and sketches.
- Maintain workstation and equipment.
- Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Document and record production quantities and time.
- Document and report any issues or concerns to leadership.
- Work closely with other team members to complete projects by assigned deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
- Test and inspect components to ensure uniformity and quality.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years working in manufacturing or in a related field.
- Ability to operate Voltmeters and hand tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of AC/DC voltage.
- Ability to multitask.
