Overview

HMT is a global leader in aboveground storage tank solutions, focusing on innovation and customer partnership to optimize tank operations. They are seeking a capable Welder responsible for cutting and joining metals and materials at facilities or construction sites, ensuring a safe foundation for strong infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Explore and follow blueprints and drawings, taking measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Prepare the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Prepare components for welding according to specifications using powered saws.
• Use angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Use manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions to weld components.
• Check welded surfaces and structures for flaws by testing and inspecting them.
• Keep equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Travel is required (90%+).

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Welder using Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW).
• Must have 2 years' experience in Tank Welding.
• Must be able to pass 2G/3G/4G Welding Test 7018/6010 and Flux Core.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
• TWIC Card.
