Overview

At Allegion, we help keep people safe and secure with a focus on security around the doorway and beyond. The Welder position involves welding mild and stainless-steel sheet metal and structural steel tubing, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Weld mild and stainless-steel sheet metal from 16 ga to 7 ga thick.
Weld structural steel tubing with a .25 wall thickness.
Operate with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of welding experience.
Ability to be qualified per AWS D1.3 within 120 days.
Self-starter with the ability to read shop packets and fabricate to standards.

Shift: 1st: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Work environment is usually loud.
Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, and twisting.
