The Maintenance Technician role involves comprehensive facility maintenance and supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive facility maintenance including plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes and OSHA safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of facility maintenance experience.
  • Electrical experience in residential, commercial, and light commercial settings.
  • Knowledge of lighting systems and fixtures, including ballast troubleshooting.
  • Plumbing repair and installation experience, including fixtures and PVC pipe fitting.
  • Working knowledge of sprinkler systems and fire pumps.
  • Framing and carpentry skills with the ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Drywall repair and finishing skills.
  • Painting and roofing repair skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and trade-related equipment.
  • High level of mental focus and visual attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity, strength, and stamina for physical tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.

  • Working hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
