Responsibilities
- Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as motors and baggage handling systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
- Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedies.
- Interpret schematics and engineering drawings related to system operations.
- React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager.
- Perform preventive maintenance including inspection and adjustments.
Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Background check and drug screen required.
- Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.
- Experience in an industrial environment or minimum 1 year experience as maintenance mechanic.
- Proven experience as a Welder with relevant work experience.

- Employees work in assured management areas of baggage, at repair stations, in and around jetbridges, or at airfields.
- Employees may be exposed to various noise levels due to aircraft engines and equipment.
