Overview

Join Worldwide Flight Services as an OXF Mechanic in Facility Maintenance, where you will contribute to the timely delivery of cargo and ensure the safe operation of baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. Responsibilities

• Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as motors and baggage handling systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
• Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedies.
• Interpret schematics and engineering drawings related to system operations.
• React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance including inspection and adjustments.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.
• Experience in an industrial environment or minimum 1 year experience as maintenance mechanic.
• Proven experience as a Welder with relevant work experience.

• Employees may be exposed to various noise levels due to aircraft engines and equipment.
