Overview

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is a leading commercial mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems across Arizona. They are seeking an experienced Combination Pipefitter / Welder to join their fabrication shop team supporting commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and fabricate piping spools and assemblies from shop drawings and isometrics.
• Weld pipe using SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and/or GMAW (MIG) per approved WPS.
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping.
• Safely operate shop equipment (band saws, bevelers, grinders, etc.).
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards in a shop environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of pipefitting and welding experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and isometrics.
• Strong fit-up, layout, and welding skills.
• Experience working in a fabrication shop environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
