Overview

We are hiring an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily operations in our steel fabrication shop. This role focuses on production leadership, crew coordination, and maintaining workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily shop activities and crew assignments
• Maintain workflow, production pace, and material organization
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
• Support fabricators with layout, fitting, and problem‑solving
• Enforce safety standards and proper equipment use
• Coordinate with project managers, QC, and field teams
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and well‑organized shop environment

Requirements

• 3–5 years of steel fabrication experience
• 1+ year as a lead, working foreman, or bay lead
• Strong blueprint reading and fabrication knowledge
• Ability to manage crews and maintain production schedules
• Solid communication and leadership skills
