Overview

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process piping and controls equipment systems, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs or supervises repairs of process piping and controls equipment systems and components.
• Follows procedures, written manuals and executes scheduled work orders.
• Evaluates process equipment for problem identification and recommends and implements solutions.
• Cleans and maintains plant areas and equipment regularly.
• Performs all duties safely, including operating a company vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• HS Degree or Equivalent.
• Technical degree or certification desired.
• Ability to work in a high-performance work system with minimal to no supervision.
• Five or more years work experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience.
• Exposure to industrial DCS or PLC systems; PLC experience is a plus.
• Familiar with test equipment and ability to creatively troubleshoot complex systems.
• Familiar with pressurized systems, valves, piping systems and their operation.
• Ability to read and follow SDS Sheets.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Ability to read printed maintenance manuals and other literature in English.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
